| Coby had a love for the outdoors. He played baseball in Little League, then moved on to Hockey in his teen years. In high school he got awards for his Auto cad drawings. He loved to read, and he’d read anything. In school history was his favorite subject. Coby will be remembered for his quick devilish grin. |

Coby Graduated from A-Tec. in 2000 when he joined the Army. He completed Basic Combat Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Then, he joined Charlie Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry out of Fort Lewis, Washington as an Infantryman from February 2001 to February 2005 serving as an Automatic Rifleman, Stryker Vehicle Commander and Team Leader. |
| While in Washington Coby grew to love guns, biking and motorcycling. He got his first dog Aussie and what he wouldn’t do for that dog. He was going to college and was short one semester of a degree in geology. Sgt. Schwab was deployed to Iraq in 2003 to 2004 SSG Schwab continued his military service by transferring to the United States Army Reserve joining 2122nd Garrison Support Unit serving in the Emergency Operation Center. SSG Schwab became a member of Bravo Company, Engineer 09 June 2006 in order to prepare for deployment. SSG Schwab deployed with Bravo Company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom September 2006. |
